MP from Batkivshchyna Mykola Knyazhytskiy stated from the stage of Maidan that the riot police caught two police officers disguised as Euromaidan protesters who shot at them with a Makarov gun.

“I had a conversation with two police officers, one colonel from Lviv, the other – from Donetsk. Next to us, an ambulance was attempting to bring first wounded protesters to the hospital, and then policemen with gunshot wounds,” – Knyazhytsky stated.

They said: “You know, we thought that those were your guys, but we caught the ones that were shooting from Makarov guns, and they turned out to be ours. We took away their ID and gave them to counterintelligence,” – Knyazhytskiy told.
