UDAR Activist: The Transcarpathian SBU Has Defected to the People Regional Prosecutor Promises to Tender His Resignation (Translated from Ukrainian by William Risch)
The SBU (Security Services of Ukraine) has declared its support for the Ukrainian people.
This is according to Valeriy Patskan, people’s deputy from the UDAR party.
“We just found out that the regional SBU has gone over to the side of the people,” he said.
Besides that, added Patskan, the regional prosecutor, Volodymyr Korban’, promised to submit his resignation.
In addition, the people’s deputy said that several riot police commanders have called him asking him to guarantee the security of riot police personnel who wind up in protestors’ hands.
“I assured him that there will be no vigilante justice or harassment of these guys,” added Patskan.
