Vitaly Naida, one of the counter-intelligence chiefs of the Secret Service of Ukraine, announced that Russian servicemen are tasked with killing a few hundred people and after that sending regular troops into the territory of Ukraine.
“The main goal of diversionist and the Special Forces on the territory of Ukraine is to destabilize the situation to a maximum level,” he said. “Moreover the intercepted talks give us information and it is sad to say it that the country which declared itself as “fraternal” has given the task to its special forces to shed blood on the streets of our cities,” he said.
“The recorded talks clarified that they should kill 100-200 people and a half of an hour later the Russian troops and APCs (Armoured Personnel Carrier) would be put into the territory of Ukraine,” he added.
Naida confirmed again that the diversions on the territories of the Eastern oblasts have been committed by the 45th Separate Intelligence Brigade of Guards, which is headquartered in the town of Kubinka, Moscow Oblast.
“These are the Russian Special Forces that seized the buildings of Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet of Ministers of Crimea,” he pointed out.
Naida also reiterated that these Special Forces get their commands from Ihor Strelkov, who is a Russian military intelligence officer from the GRU (call sign Stryelok) and who had been in charge of the seizures of the state buildings in Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Odesa.
“More of that if you look at the ombudsman’s website, you will find information that this Stryelok kidnapped Chechens during the Chechnya campaign and took them to Russia,”he specified.
According to Naida, the 45th Separate Intelligence Brigade of Guards also participated in the Chechnya campaign and the occupation of Georgia.
