Medic students from Kharkiv are giving assistance to the wounded during the ATO

The leadership of the Kharkiv City Administration and Kharkiv Medical University are providing a volunteer movement of student medics in the military hospital and other medical centres where those wounded in the anti-terrorist operation are to be found.

This is reported by the first deputy Minister for Healthcare Ruslan Saliutin live on Channel 5. “The civil volunteer aid is always needed by our soldiers and our civil wounded, but especially soldiers,” he noted.

Saliutin also confirmed the death of 16 soldiers during the battle near Volnovakha, as well as giving some information about the wounded. According to him, 18 wounded are located in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk hospitals, where they had been delivered by air. Besides, 6 soldiers are in hospital in Volnovakha, 6 gravely wounded in Donetsk’s medical establishments.

As is known, earlier it has been reported that the number of victims in the clash between terrorists and soldiers near Volnovakha constitutes 16 people. 32 people are in the medical establishments of the oblast, which have also been injured as a result of this battle.
