Self-proclaimed “mayor” of Sloviansk Vyacheslav Ponomarev said: “I appeal to residents of Sloviansk. We were sold out to Chechen rebels. The Chechens are planning to burn the town to the ground”.
Drug addict and self-proclaimed “mayor” of Sloviansk Vyacheslav Ponomarev gathered the few supporters that still remained with him and said that Chechen mercenaries are going to level Sloviansk to the ground. Thus, Ponomarev confessed that Russian curators practically set them up and allowed the Chechens to burn the city to the ground.
“Dear residents of Sloviansk! The current situation got out of our control. The Russian curators have not kept their promise of helping us if the Kyiv junta begins a genocide of the Russian people,” said Ponomarev.
Since the terrorists from so-called People Republic of Donetsk (DNR) are no longer in control of the town, the Chechens that came from Russia openly engaged in looting.
“Kyiv’s punitive troops destroyed most of our soldiers, our forces are limited. Instead of helping with troops, Russia is helping us with Chechen mercenaries which cannot be controlled. Their main purpose is looting!” added Ponomarev.
On top of this, the self-proclaimed “mayor” urged residents of Sloviansk to leave the town, as he become aware that an unknown to him group of militants is going to burn Sloviansk to the ground and also Luhansk and Donetsk if it will be possible.
“I have to agree that the situation in the city is critical. Our intelligence agencies said that the militants which have no relation to us are going to burn the city to the ground… The same is true in Luhansk and Donetsk. I urge residents to leave the city if possible as there is a high probability that the Kadyrovtsy will fulfill their plan,” admitted Ponomarev.
Earlier, Ponomarev said that the Kadyrovtsy are firing at Ukrainian ATO positions from residential areas of the town in the hope that the Ukrainian military will respond by shooting back at the residential neighborhoods. Besides, the militants deliberately fire at the town’s suburbs in order to blame Ukrainian authorities for civilian casualties.
