Third Gas War: Prologue

On June 13, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk ordered Naftogaz Ukraine, relevant ministries, and regional state administrations to prepare for a complete suspension of Russian supplies of natural gas as of Monday, June 16. The PM also ordered the National Energy Regulatory Commission (NERC) to establish economically viable rates for the transit of Russian natural gas through Ukrainian territory.

In turn, Gazprom boss Alexei Miller announced that Ukraine would be moved to a system of advance payment for natural gas as of 10:00 a.m. on June 16: “No payment, no deliveries.” In addition, Miller emphasized that this extension was the final one and was made solely at the request of the European Commission, while Kyiv was resorting to “outright blackmail.”

Such is the current state of the latest round of trilateral negotiations among Ukraine, Russia and the EU. Essentially, there has been no progress. Continue reading

Attack near UA Embassy in Moscow: Ekaterina Moldon

We are in the police bus, got taken for no reason under the pretext that we are ‘provoking’ someone – apparently for a Ukrainian scarf, badges and a wreath on Iryna Kalmykova. I have laid flowers before this and they did not detain us for that; people are allowed to come to the Embassy only individually. They destroyed the poster of a man in front of us who was asking forgiveness from Ukraine for Putin; his forehead was bloody. Apparently the provocateur tore the elderly man’s forehead with a piece of broken poster! There are 6 of us in the police bus: Iryna Kalmykova, Lesya Malakyan, Olha Horlova, Anastasia Fazulina, Vera Sveshnikova-Vaskovich and I. We have called the embassy of Ukraine and complained about unprecedented attack on us for no reason. We haven’t been able to reach the police info desk yet, help!!! Continue reading

Putin advisor Sergei Glazyev suggested hitting the Ukrainian army to prevent it getting stronger

Russian presidential advisor Sergei Glazyev proposes that Russia strike the Ukrainian army to prevent it from getting stronger.

A UNIAN correspondent in Russia reports that Sergei Glazyev said during a roundtable in Moscow, “I recall the words of Churchill: whoever, choosing between shame and war, chooses shame, gets war and shame at the same time. This modern war. This does not mean that we need to move our tanks in Kyiv, but we at least have the right to stop the genocide of the population,” he said.

“It’s enough to close the sky and use the same mechanism of suppression of military equipment which was used by the US in Libya. The US initially closed the sky, then shot armored vehicles, artillery, aviation from the air. This way the US rendered the regime with which they fought incapable of combat. We still have the opportunity to do so now, but within six months, such an opportunity will not be possible,” said Sergei Glazyev. Continue reading

Experts examined video of the ‘shooting’ by the maniac Bezler, a.k.a. Demon: Information Resistance Group

bezler

The Information Resistance group has asked experts to analyze the video released by the terrorists yesterday [June 5] showing a shooting accompanied by an ultimatum to Ukrainian authorities from the sadist Bezler, a.k.a. Demon.

The experts found the following: “The gravity vector of the falling bodies does not coincide with the direction of the shot. Judging by the sound of clanging breechblocks, someone cocked two AK-74s. Judging by the shooting sound, they were shooting blanks (for this reason these were single-shots). The officers are in plain clothes. One wears a snow-white shirt, which is hardly possible after being held captive for a few days (the shirts would have been, putting it mildly, not very clean, and after the shots, as they were falling, a white shirt would have shown blood). They did not show the faces.” Continue reading

Solidarity Prize awarded to Mustafa Dzhemilev

Mustafa Dzhemilev announced that he will give €100,000 out of the €1 million award he received with the Polish Solidarity Prize to the bereaved families of Heaven’s Hundred and the families of the soldiers killed during the anti-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine, reports Ukrinform.

“The only caveat is that, as it turns out, the award may not be spent for humanitarian purposes. However, on that issue I was able to persuade them to allow me to allocate at least €100,000 to provide assistance to the families of Heaven’s Hundred, who died on Maidan for our sake, and to the families of those who died during the anti-terrorist operation. They [the Polish] didn’t have heart to say ‘No, it is not allowed’,” says the former head Mejli. Continue reading
