What could be difficult in the work of a courier? Nothing. You get a package, the address of the person you have to give it to and you set off on the road. The biggest troubles you might face are a flat tyre or traffic jams on city streets. However the circumstances change radically if your destination points are roadblocks of Ukrainian soldiers in the ATO zone, close to the centre of the conflict – the city of Slovyansk. And your car is full of humanitarian cargo (medicine, optics, military equipment, food).

A small, shabby shop in the centre of Donetsk. There are practically no customers. I am greeted by the owner of the shop Petro, a smart phlegmatic middle-aged man.

“We are working more as security guards here,” he says almost in a whisper, even though there is nobody there to eavesdrop. “Recently, I have been coming here every day myself, to prevent anything from happening. They are not messing with us yet, what is the point? However, there is no point to mess with others either, but they still do it…”

The Cool Battalion. The second troop of the National Guard is going to Donbas. 

Igor Ilkiv, the head of the medical service of the second battalion of the National Guard about the life of the battalion.

The second battalion, which has been formed in April from three hundred volunteers and has undergone preparation at a polygon near Kyiv, is going to Donbas today.

“UP.Life” met with the head medic of the battalion Igor Ilkiv in order to ask him how well-stocked the medical unit is.

The Head of the Ministry of Defence Explained Why Slovyansk Has Not Been Freed Yet

Kyiv – There are numerous instances of abuse of power regarding provision within the Armed Forces, which the commandment is trying to operatively solve. This was stated by the acting Minister of Defence Colonel General Mykhailo Koval during his report to the Parliament. He also admitted that the rear services have turned out to be unprepared to carry out new tasks which have raised during the anti-terrorist operation, however now the situation has been rectified. Meanwhile the Verkhovna Rada has not put up the issue of providing a state of emergency in Donbas for discussion.

If Russia Stops Financing Terrorists, the Situation in the East of Ukraine Will Be Solved Within One-Two Weeks
