Der orthodoxe Terrorismus

Pavlo Zharov, ein Aktivist aus Luhansk, meint, dass Putin die Taktik und Strategie der tschetschenischen Separatisten, von Al-Qaida, der Taliban und des militärischen Flügels der Hamas gründlich studiert hat und sich entschloss, diese zu nutzen, um die eigenen geopolitischen Interessen durchzusetzen.

Im Kern dieser Militärdoktrin liegt das Konzept der “Russischen Welt” – der Einheit aller Länder, die irgendwann Teil des russischen Reiches bzw. der Sowjetunion oder Russlands waren, unter russischer Schirmherrschaft standen oder die Gunst des russischen Reiches/der Sowjetunion/Russlands genossen haben.

Erfinder dieser geopolitischen Doktrin ist Alexandr Dugin, dessen radikale Ideen von vielen russischen Politikern offen unterstützt werden.

Der Krieg im Namen Gottes ist nichts Neues in der Menschheitsgeschichte. Hauptsache man erarbeitet ein genaues Feindbild, das real ist, und nicht nur ein Staatssystem. Es ist einfach zu sagen, dass in der Ukraine Faschisten an die Macht gekommen sind, die das jüdische Blut trinken und den orthodoxen Märtyrern die Köpfe abreisen. Und dass das alles antirussisch sei, und jeder, der nicht “mit uns ist, ist der “Rechte Sektor”.

Wir erleben jetzt die Bildung einer “Russischen Orthodoxen Armee”; hören Aussagen wie “bis zum Herbst wird Kyiw unser sein”; sehen, wie die Menschen in den Gebieten von Donezk und Luhansk entführt werden, um sie später gegen die eigenen Leute auszutauschen; wir sehen orthodoxe Priester zusammen mit Separatisten mit Kreuzen und Kalaschnikows in der Hand, die zum Krieg für “die orthodoxe Rus” aufrufen, und die Videos der “Partisanen”, die den Al-Qaida-Kämpfern auf so schreckliche Art ähneln.

Wird die neue ukrainische Regierung es schaffen, mit effektiven Maßnahmen gegen den Terrorismus vorzugehen, und der fortschrittlichen Kampftechnik Moskaus etwas entgegenzusetzen?

Denn davon hängt das Überleben der Ukraine als Staat und der Ukrainer als Volk ab.

Vorbemerkung:
Wer heutzutage für die Ukraine eintritt oder sich auch nur offen zu seiner ukrainischen Ethnizität bekennt, wird fast unweigerlich von bestimmten Kreisen schon einmal als Faschist beschimpft worden sein. Ukrainefreunde diagnostizieren an diesem technologischen Name-Calling („Faschist“, „Benderowez“, „Banderlog“, „Wyshywanka-Träger“, „Mai-Downs“ „Kiewer Junta“) seitens prorussischer und bestimmter „antifaschistischer“ Kräfte ihrerseits faschistische Erkennungsmerkmale. Nachdem der Faschismusbegriff in aller Munde ist, möchte Voices of Ukraine mit der folgenden Übersetzung eines Fachartikels von Dr. phil. Alexei Schewtschenko einen Beitrag zur Klärung der Definition von Faschismus im postsowjetischen und speziell im russischen Kontext liefern.

Der Artikel wurde ursprünglich bereits im Jahr 2010 veröffentlicht bei RISU, dem Religionsinformationsdienst der Ukraine, einem Projekt der Ukrainischen Katholischen Universität, als Reaktion auf eine schon damals von der Redaktion diagnostizierten fanatischen Verbreitung der Idee der „Russischen Welt“ (Russki Mir) durch Apologeten und Quasitheologen in der Ukraine. Die Redaktion sah schon damals Verbindungen zu dem frühen Alexander Dugin.

Faschismus als eschatologische Religion in Russland

In Russland wurden die Voraussetzungen geschaffen für eine mögliche Allianz zwischen einzelnen Politikern, Vertretern der regierenden bürokratischen Elite, Vertretern der höchsten Ränge der Armee, Intellektuellen und Humanisten und Massenbewegungen (insbesondere Jugendbewegungen), die bereits unter offen faschistischen Losungen auftreten und damit deutsche nationalsozialistische Muster kopieren.

Die ideelle Grundlage für einen hypothetischen Zusammenschluss der genannten gesellschaftlichen Schichten und Kräfte ist ein nebliger Nationalpatriotismus, der eine konzeptuell unausgeprägte, vorwiegend emotionelle negative Einstellung gegenüber dem Westen zeigt und einen besonderen Russischen Weg in der Weltgeschichte deklariert, welcher aus der Tradition des Kollektivismus und der Orthodoxie (im Gegensatz zum westlichen Individualismus) und einem unmittelbaren Gefühl von „Russlands Größe“ und seiner weltumfassenden Mission erwächst.

Ministry of Health resumes cooperation with Ukraine Council of Churches

KYIV – “Health, Church, and society have always gone together. Morally sick society requires our joint efforts: doctors who treat the body, and priests who heal the soul,” claimed recently appointed head of the Ministry of Health Oleh Musiy.

The meeting of the Ministry’s leadership with the heads and representatives of religions was dedicated to the resumption of cooperation between the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Council of Churches, and was held on April 11th, 2014, the Institute for Religious Freedom reported.

“I see our collaboration as open, fair, and equal. I am convinced that this cooperation will benefit the Ukrainian people. We have a common humanitarian mission. Together we will be able to succeed in building a society defined by moral and ethical principles, and the fulfillment of professional codes of ethics, particularly the code of medical professionals –it is obligatory,” said Minister Oleh Musiy.

There are different opinions concerning the religious preferences of the Crimeans. Some assert that Crimea is purely Orthodox and Moscow Patriarchate at that. Others believe that Islam dominates by reason of the extensive Crimean Tatar community.

But there’s actually a wide variety of religions and different denominations present on the Crimean peninsula, which is explained by the high level of religious freedom all over Ukraine.

In Crimea, the priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Kyiv Patriarchy) are ready to serve their liturgies in mosques. Channel 5 reports that Crimean Tatars offered them this shelter, said the spokesman for the Kyiv Patriarchy, Archbishop Yevtratiy Zorya.

Archbishop Zorya states that two priests have left Crimea; eleven more led by Archbishop Clement continue to serve there. But all the clergy of the Kyiv Patriarchy was forced to take their families out of the peninsula. The Orthodox will accept the invitation of the Crimean Tatars to pray in mosques, if they feel danger in their own churches in Crimea or if the priests and parishioners of the Kyiv Patriarchy are kicked out of their churches.

The priests of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate in Crimea are ready to accept the offer made by Crimean Tatars, said archbishop Yevstratiy Zorya, the spokesperson of Kyiv Patriarchate.

Two priests have fled from Crimea already; eleven more, headed by archbishop Klyment, continue to serve there, although the entire Crimean clergy of Kyiv Patriarchate chose to evacuate their families from the peninsula. If threatened or driven out from their churches, the priests and lay believers of Kyiv Patriarchate will accept the Tatars’ invitation to use the premises of their mosques for worship.

“They promised to help us protect our rights” – remarked Zorya.

We, the representatives of Ukrainian churches and religious organizations, who are authorized to organize pastoral care among members of the Armed Forces and other military formations of Ukraine, are concerned about the situation that has developed in Crimea and other regions of our country.

Due to the intransigence of the leaders of the Russian Federation we are on the verge of a fratricidal war, pitting brother against brother. The soldiers of the Russian army and navy today are disregarding the laws of God and man that teach us how to live.
