Turchynov said that the attempt by Right Sector to storm Verkhovna Rada was organized by Russia

Oleksandr Turchynov, acting President of Ukraine and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada (VR), believes that yesterday’s attempt to storm the Parliament building was organized by Russia. He pointed out during his speech to the Parliament that he gave the order to dismantle the fence around Parliament, and it is now open to all citizens.

He opined that arrangements will eventually be made for anyone who wants to visit Parliament to do so.

“The fact that Parliament has been opened, that Parliament did not ask for armed protection from the Ministry of the Interior, does not mean that Parliament can be assaulted and humiliated,” he said.

Announcement of the Right Sector concerning the events of March 27, 2014

Today on Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv a Viche [people’s assembly] was held on the matter of the counter-revolutionary actions of Interior Minister Arsen Avakov. The main reason for the assembly was the brutal murder of Oleksandr Muzychko, a representative of the Right Sector.

The rally was attended by several thousand people from various organizations, including activists of Maidan, Automaidan, the self-defense, Right Sector, and other organizations.

The rally aimed to demand an urgent lustration of the law enforcement agencies, a just punishment for those guilty of the tragedy on Hrushevskiy and Institutska Str, and resignation of Interior Minister A.Avakov. Maidan’s Viche decided to take the initiative into their own hands, and Right Sector, being the vanguard of the national Revolution, supported the will of the people. Right Sector declares that the picketing of Verkhovna Rada was a precautionary action.

Right Sector opposes seizing the building of Verkhovna Rada. During these events, Right Sector activists held back people that were indignated by the lawless actions of Minister Avakov.

There is no Anti-Semitism in Ukraine

Mosche Reuven Asman is the Chief Rabbi Hasidic Jews (Chabad – Lubavich Movement), Ukrainian Congress of Jewish Religious Communities.

Born in Leningrad, he lived in Israel after his marriage, and then worked as an assistant Rabbi of Toronto teaching Russian-speaking Jews. He then returned to Ukraine. During the course of the past few months Moshe Asman has commented on the absence of anti-Semitism in Ukraine, on lies regarding alleged aggression towards Jews as well as on a number of provocations that have been created to mislead the observers of Maidan movement regarding the true motivations behind the revolution in Ukraine.

In a conversation with Ukrainska Pravda, Moshe Asman shares his wisdom on life, conveyed with restraint and a willingness to share his thoughts. Recently Moshe Asman’s words were misinterpreted. Israel’s Haaretz published inflammatory information indicating that Moshe Asman called on all Jews to leave Kyiv.

We had an opportunity to speak to the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine on topics that touched both politics as well as society in the Capital building of Brodsky Synagogue, which he incidentally helped return to the Kyiv community.

Russian activists who do not want to fight the Ukrainian people appeal to Right Sector

They have created an Internet community which will block the websites and servers of Russian government agencies until the Kremlin calls back its last soldier occupier from Ukraine.

Their activities will include:

1. Blocking the websites and servers of Russian government services.

2. Providing truthful and unbiased facts to ordinary citizens about the events in Crimea and other regions of Ukraine.

Right Sector to Become a Party and Yarosh for President

The leader of the Right Sector movement, Dmytro Yarosh, intends to run for president. The movement will become a party, Andriy Tarasenko, the chairperson of the Kyiv organization Right Sector, told Interfax – Ukraine.

“We are preparing for a congress, where the party will be renamed, and we go to the elections in Kyiv: in all local councils, towns and villages, which means that Dmytro Yarosh will run for president of Ukraine,” he said.

Today, the Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation has published information about opening criminal case against Dmytro Yarosh, the leader of Right Sector. The main investigative administration of the Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case against the leader of Right Sector Dmytro Yarosh on grounds of crimes outlined in Art. 205.2 part 2 and Art. 280 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for realising terrorist and extremist activity with the use of mass media),” the statement follows.

The Right Sector is blocking the cargo of Yanukovych’s associates in the harbor of Kherson

The organization Right Sector claims that resources worth millions of USD are located in the harbor of Kherson, and that associates of President Viktor Yanukovych, ousted by the Rada, are trying to take them out of the country.

This was stated by Andriy Tarasenko, one of the organization’s leaders, reports еizvestia.com.

“Right Sector representatives were made aware that Yanukovych’s associates and their mafia had gathered resources worth millions of USD that were stolen from the Ukrainian people. After receiving this information, Right Sector fighters entered the port area and surrounded the cargo containers and bookkeeping, preventing it from leaving Ukraine in an unknown direction,” reported Tarasenko.

Right Sector assures Israeli Ambassador that they reject antisemitism

“Right sector” leaders have assured Reuven Din El, Israeli Ambassador, that they reject any signs of chauvinism and xenophobia in their ideology. This was discussed during the meeting in the embassy, according to the information on the official website on Thursday.

“The Israeli Ambassador in Ukraine, Reuven Din El, met with the heads of the “Right Sector” as well as with their leader, Dmytro Yarosh on February 26th 2014″, – states the announcement. The movement leaders informed the ambassador of their views on Ukraine’s future and emphasized that their movement adheres to tolerant positions in questions of nationalism. Yarosh also stressed that all negative phenomena, especially anti-semitism, will not only lack support from “Right Sector”, but will also be persecuted by all lawful means. He ensured that the movement aims to build a democratic Ukraine with transparency in governmental structures, mechanisms to counteract corruption, and equal opportunities for people of all nationalities, the union of which will make possible to build a national state governed by the people. The sides have agreed to create a “hot line” in order to avoid provocations and to find solutions for any further issues that may arise.

Right Sector’s response to statement by Victor Yanukovych

Having seen today’s statement by Yanukovych, we need to point out the obvious fact that the criminal regime still has not fully appreciated either the scale of its atrocities or the wrath of the nation.

The statement does not include any clear commitments on the resignation of this pseudo-president, the dissolution of the Ukrainian Parliament whose inaction led to the escalation of conflict, the punishment of those responsible for law enforcement agencies and those who carried out the criminal orders that resulted in the deaths of about hundred Ukrainian citizens (particularly the immediate arrest of Acting Minister of Interior Vitaliy Zakharchenko, the leaders of the Berkut riot police leaders, and the snipers, and the dismissal of Oleksandr Yakymenko [the head of the State Security Service], Victor Pshonka [the Prosecutor-General], and Pavlo Lebedev [the Minister of Defence], followed by an investigation into their activities), a prohibition on the activities of the Party of Regions and the Communist Party of Ukraine, and safety guarantees to all participants in revolutionary action.
