Terrifying moment when one Crimean realized resistance was futile

103845312-crimea-referendum

I live in Crimea and would like to briefly tell you how I became acquainted with the green men and how we were captured by them. I would like to tell you this story because mainland Ukraine keeps asking us why we did not resist.

This happened a few days before the “referendum.” I worked for, you could call it, a strategic enterprise. It was a regular working day, same routine as always. I was sitting in my office after lunch and suddenly I heard some sort of clicks. It wasn’t clear what they were. I came out of the office and saw people lying on the floor in the hallway, and a shadow passing into the reception area. I was frightened and locked the office door. A minute later I heard: “Open up, bitch, or I’ll shoot!”  So I quietly approached the door and opened it. In front of me I saw a Kalashnikov and a green man. Continue reading

The only deputy of the Russian State Duma who voted against the accession of Crimea to Russia,  Ilya Ponomarev, has declared that there are Russian saboteurs present in Ukraine.  The deputy wrote about this after visiting Ukraine, in his blog in “Echo Moskvy”.

“There is no large-scale intervention, but there are special forces (of the Main Intelligence Directorate?) and subversive groups that are carrying out the task of directing and organizing the forces of the so-called ‘self-defence’,” said Ilya Ponomarev. Continue reading

The Honest Russians’ Appeal to the People of Ukraine

10149831_733858919968471_2977595755901909314_nDear sisters and brothers,

In this horrible moment of time, we would like to address you with much pain in our hearts.

The ruling regime of Russia has crossed the last line in its progressing immorality. Without declaring war, it has started military operations in Ukraine. In the beginning of this past March, the Russian army occupied Crimea, and now it is attempting to seize the southeastern part of your country. During these operations, the special operations paratroopers from Russia hide their nationality and their faces, acting as the “little green men.” This is a shame for any combat troops. It is a shame for Russia and her Armed Forces. Never before did Russian soldiers hide behind a human shield. Even today no Russian soldier would do that, but the regime forces him to commit crimes against his brothers and against his own honor and dignity. Continue reading
