136 journalists suffered in Ukraine during period of mass protests

From 21 November, the beginning of mass protests in Ukraine, 136 journalists were injured during or as a result of their professional activities. These are the data of the Institute of Mass Information, which monitors, records and verifies information about the suffered journalists, photographers and operators at mass protest actions and in the clashes between protesters, police and “titushki” in Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine. Taken into account were only the cases, associated with the journalist professional duties, and those in which journalists got a real injury or a damage to their equipment.

The price of freedom

The price of freedom

Ukrainians value their freedom. The ‘Dictatorship laws’ caused mass indignation and radicalised protests. 9 of the 11 laws were just revoked in the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament). But the initiators of the repressive laws and those that falsified the voting results pretend that everything is normal, that 6 people haven’t died, tens are not missing, hundreds not arrested, and two thousands are not injured. The government proposes to give an “amnesty” to those that came to defent the rights and freedoms of ALL as if they are villains.

Barricades in the schoolyard

Юрий Дворянчиков on FB:

In a middle school in Kyiv schoolchildren have built barricades in the schoolyard and prepared to play “our guys vs Berkut”, like we played “Russians and Germans” [cops and robbers] before. And it turned out that none of the children wanted to be a “Berkut”. The children threw snowballs and then made a small protest demonstration. They shouted “Berkuts are fascists” and so on.
The country will be in safe hands.
