In den letzten drei Monaten organisiert und unterstützt Russland aktiv die blutige Konfrontation im Osten und Süden der Ukraine. Die westlichen Regierungen zeigen sich tief besorgt und verurteilen die Gewalt, es sind aber nur Worte. Während die französische Regierung ihre Unterstützung der Ukraine bekundet und tiefe Besorgnis über die russische Annexion der Krim äußert, stoppt sie den Verkauf der zwei Schiffe der Klasse «Mistral» an Russland nicht. Das bedeutet, dass Frankreich gleichzeitig die Militärintervention Russlands verurteilt und weiterhin ultramoderne, leistungsstarke Militärtechnik an den Aggressor liefert.
Kommen Sie zu der lokalen Französischen Botschaft, um gegen diesen zynischen Deal zu protestieren. Schließen Sie uns an, und wir werden gemeinsam die französische Regierung aufrufen, das Geschäft aufzukündigen und ihr Engagement für die europäischen Werte und die Rechtsstaatlichkeit zu bekräftigen. Die direkte Beteiligung Moskaus an der militärischen Aggression im Osten der Ukraine ist eine Tatsache. Durch den Verkauf von Kriegsschiffen an den Aggressor riskiert Frankreich zu einem direkten Verbündeten dieses terroristischen Landes zu werden. Es ist unmoralisch, Waffen an ein Land zu verkaufen, das mehrere internationale Abkommen, einschließlich des Budapester Memorandums, in dem Russland als eine der Garantiemächte für die territoriale Integrität der Ukraine auftrat, verletzte.
Wir haben schon genug von Bekundungen der “tiefen Besorgnis”. Es ist Zeit, die knallharte Wirklichkeit anzuerkennen. Wir verstehen, dass es schmerzhaft für die westlichen Regierungen sein kann, solche Verträge zu kündigen, weil dies zu wirtschaftlichen Verlusten führen kann. Doch die europäischen Regierungen sollten ihre Unterstützung der echten europäischen Werte demonstrieren und zeigen, dass das Geld nicht alles ist, und dass menschliches Leben wertvoller als Gold ist. Während Frankreich Geld verliert, verliert die Ukraine Tausende von Menschenleben als Folge des nicht erklärten Krieges seitens Russlands.
Wir fordern die französische Regierung auf, den Vertrag zu kündigen und aufzuhören, den Angreifer zu unterstützen.

Yuriy Serheyev
President Poroshenko’s peace plan has generated a positive reaction at the United Nations and an appreciation that this step can help achieve peace and lead to dialogue, said Ukraine’s representative to the UN, Yuriy Serheyev, during an interview with Inter TV Channel, Sunday, June 22.
