Heroic Ukrainian female officer taken hostage by the terrorists “blew up” social media.

Social media users are calling to rescue Ukrainian officer Nadiya Savchenko, who has been taken hostage by Donbas terrorists.

For this all those impartial are being asked to post the photograph of the aviator, who has already been dubbed “G.I. Jane,” or publicly demonstrate support. “All you have to do is post her photo with the hashtag #SaveOurGirl on social networks or publicly show your support,” Twitter users write.

Earlier, a video has been shared on the web in which the hostage is being questioned by terrorists. Despite the accusatory tone of the questions and her essential helplessness, the pilot is holding up with dignity.

Nadiya survived Iraq and is a merited professional in the Ukrainian army with over 10 years’ experience. During the questioning it was discovered that the woman had been captured during an attempt to rescue wounded Ukrainian soldiers: “I was going after our wounded. Two of our armoured carriers were shot in the village of Metalist and I came for the wounded.”

Nadiya Savchenko has no illusions as to the intentions of the criminals. When a bandit (as is concluded from the context – of Russian nationality) asked her the question: “If you are freed, will you return here with weapons?”, she answered: “I will not be freed, I will be killed. You Russian government will kill me on accusations that they ascribe.”

We remind you that Putin’s propaganda, in its usual manner, called Nadiya – senior lieutenant, navigator-operator of a Ukrainian Armed Forces helicopter, “a sniper involved in the murder of Russian journalists.”

The group “InfoResist” shared a video report of Military TV of Ukraine about the hero dated back in 2011.

Odious Russian personality launches web-based project called Ukraina.ru

Russia has established yet another platform in its information war against Ukraine. On June 18, the Russia Today Agency headed by infamous Russian jingoist Dmitry Kiselyov, launched a new information resource called Ukraina.ru. This web-based platform is intended to inform readers about the crisis in Ukraine and to become, in the words of the author, a supposed ‘reflection of Russian-Ukrainian relations.’ However, analysts are concerned that this new resource, like its parent Russia Today, reflects the Russian government’s desire to increase its foreign propaganda efforts, according to BBC Russia.

Putin advisor Sergei Glazyev suggested hitting the Ukrainian army to prevent it getting stronger

Russian presidential advisor Sergei Glazyev proposes that Russia strike the Ukrainian army to prevent it from getting stronger.

A UNIAN correspondent in Russia reports that Sergei Glazyev said during a roundtable in Moscow, “I recall the words of Churchill: whoever, choosing between shame and war, chooses shame, gets war and shame at the same time. This modern war. This does not mean that we need to move our tanks in Kyiv, but we at least have the right to stop the genocide of the population,” he said.

“It’s enough to close the sky and use the same mechanism of suppression of military equipment which was used by the US in Libya. The US initially closed the sky, then shot armored vehicles, artillery, aviation from the air. This way the US rendered the regime with which they fought incapable of combat. We still have the opportunity to do so now, but within six months, such an opportunity will not be possible,” said Sergei Glazyev. Continue reading

Russian Terrorists Thwart Evacuation of Infant in Serious Condition to Kharkiv for Propaganda’s Sake

Recently, a heartbreaking picture from the Eastern Ukrainian city of Sloviansk, where the Ukrainian Army is carrying out the anti-terrorist operation, has flown around the internet. The picture shows a baby boy, Yevheniy Yezekyan, who suffers from cerebral palsy and could not be evacuated because of being connected to an artificial lung ventilation machine.

Almost immediately, activists appeared that worked on setting up a solution to transport Yevheniy out of the battle zone. Natalia Stativko wrote an account of how it happened:

“We have been busy for two days preparing to evacuate Yevheniy Yezekyan from Sloviansk to Kharkiv. This was extremely difficult – just imagine a 8 month old baby who cannot breathe independently, only with the help of a medical ventilator. He can be transported only with a special intensive care ambulance. There were two intensive care ambulances prepared: on in Kharkiv and the other one in Donetsk. With each ambulance there was a health team ready to go for the child despite the war. Continue reading
